Each assignment is tailored to the wishes of the
customer with fees quoted to reflect assignment details. Portrait commissions
are from £150 depending on cover and location. Social event and PR
photography is quoted to requirements. Travel outside my main base (or
other base) is charged on a time and distance basis – normally included in the
price set at the time of order.
Tutorials are mostly charged on a time basis at set rate. Initial
tutorial bookings are usually at £100+. Follow up
support and mentoring, after initial tutorials, can be arranged on a by the minute basis.
Wedding Pricing
As I tailor my cover to your requirements, each
wedding cover is
individually defined reflecting the timing, locations, the photography and included photographs
digital and/or printed and/or albums. Photographs can be colour, black and white or sepia and
are offered in a range of sizes through to wall portraits. Weekend wedding
orders are from £500. Smaller wedding covers are undertaken depending on time
and location. While the
following example covers illustrate my prices, remember each order is
individually priced from the elements requested. I provide a wide range of
albums for social events and weddings - bridal couple, family and bride's book.
Photographs can be delivered as as printed photographs, web quality digital
images (or high resolution digital images for printing)

Example 1 - Wedding Cover (or similar ceremony)
Includes up to 4 hours of attendance.
This cover often starts before the service when the bride is ready and
continues through to the reception. Initial photographs for selection
purposes are made available in a proof CD. The cover includes the first
30 photographs, in 8 x 6 size, chosen by you from
the much larger selection of proof photographs. Digital delivery
options available

Extensions can include, black and white
photographs, albums , larger photograph sizes, digital and printed images and longer attendance
Example 2 - Small Wedding
Covers
Covers for smaller ceremonies are often requested with less photographs and for relatively short time of cover. I
apply the same pricing structure and accept wedding bookings
smaller than "Example 1".

Example 3 - Presentation Cover – with
presentation album
Includes 5+ hours of attendance. This normally allows
for time with the bride getting ready, the groom and ushers before the
service and attendance through the service and reception. I will usually
take a number of planned photographs with the bridal couple and selected
guests as well as more casual shots through the day. I will take a wide
selection of colour photographs and black/white where so agreed. Initial
photographs for selection purposes are made available in a proof CD.
Includes the first 50+ printed photographs in mixed sizes up to 12 x 10
mounted in my presentation album.

I offers a range of albums including, single size, mixed
size photographs, parents albums and different formats. Photographs are
available in many sizes up to large wall portraits. Most work is in
digital format and delivered as printed photographs, or digitally for web or other use.
Travel and digital editing is chargeable.
Photography Gifts
Photography and photography tutorials can make a suitable gift and Majken is often asked to facilitate
such a gift whether as a gift of the full service or as a partial
contribution. Majken is please to facilitate such gifts, providing vouchers
where needed, for the complete service, a defined part (such as the wedding
album), or as a defined contribution. Photography tutorials can provide an
excellent gift opportunity for friends and family wanting to develop their
photographic skills.
Tutorial Fees
Tutorials are charged by the time taken with most sessions at
least 2 hours. Fees fee are circa £50 per hour. Follow up ad hoc
tutorials and support can be agreed for small slices of time which are then
charged per minute (circa £1 pm).
